Gerald Purdy, the founder of Gerald's Aussie Auto Glass was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. After graduating high school, he went on to serve in the United States Army. He served in Germany as a Tank Gunner. After returning to the US, he met and married his wife, Kathy. They have two children. Gerald opened his Auto Glass business in 1985, doing business out of his pickup. Later they opened a shop in the back half of what is now the 45th & Teckla Hasting's Bookstore. In 1993 they moved operations to their present location at 4001 Canyon Drive. Conveniently Located between Georgia and Washington on I-25. Now, with over 35 years experience in the automotive industry, the business has grown tremendously, the staff has increased to seven, yet the quality and dedication has remained consistent.
